Katrina Kaif recently traveled to Prayagraj to take part in the sacred Maha Kumbh Mela, following her husband Vicky Kaushal’s footsteps. She was joined by her mother-in-law, Veena Kaushal. During her visit, the actress stopped by Parmarth Niketan and met Swami Chidanand Saraswati at his ashram located at the Maha Kumbh campsite.

Dressed in a simple peach-colored salwar kurta, Katrina expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to visit the holy site. Speaking to ANI, she said, “I feel very fortunate to be here this time. I am truly happy and grateful. I met Swami Chidanand Saraswati and sought his blessings. I’m just beginning my experience here, and I’m already captivated by the energy, beauty, and significance of everything. I’m looking forward to spending the entire day here.”

Photos from her visit to Parmarth Niketan Ashram, where she met Swami Chidanand Saraswati, were shared on the ashram’s official Instagram account. Katrina isn’t the only celebrity to visit the Maha Kumbh Mela. Earlier, her husband Vicky Kaushal attended the religious gathering. Other stars like Akshay Kumar, Vijay Deverakonda, Esha Gupta, and Hema Malini have also been part of the festival. Akshay Kumar, in particular, took a holy dip in the waters and praised Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for his efforts in organizing the event.
